Chairman of Council & Mayor of Hunstanton

I moved to Hunstanton in 2008 from St. Ives, Cambs. when I met my partner, Christine and have 2 sons, Neill and Stephen.

Career: Qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Cambridge, into high tech engineering, few years later joined our family farm machinery business in St. Ives and 4 other sites. After closing it in 1992 moved to be bursar of 2 independent schools in Staffs, then to Worcs. running my own food business and back to St.Ives to be with my elderly mother and ran the village shop for my final 9 years and retired.

Rugby player from 11 years old and with Huntingdon Club playing all over the East Midlands.

My hope for our area is to improve things for younger generations – more homes built that they can afford to rent/buy – better paid employment in new high tech industry – better bus services for work access.

All so we can help them stay in the town and villages nearby rather than move away.
