I was born in Hunstanton and have lived here all my life, without any inclination to move away from the town I love. I live with my partner who was also born in Hunstanton, we can be seen most days walking our Border Collie.

After leaving school, I trained in hairdressing for 6 years before deciding I wanted to venture into other things.

Leaving school with no qualifications, I decided to do some adult education and I obtained an O level in social Science before moving on to do a seven-year course through Open University in Psychology. I enjoyed this so much and felt this was the area I wanted to learn more about so studied more and obtained a level 2 in Mental Health Awareness and understanding Autism. I am currently doing an online course in Psychology and Criminology.

I have always had a love for travelling and seeing & learning about other cultures, my favourite place for visiting being America where I try to visit every year if possible.

I am semi-retired and have been working for the Heacham and District Community Car Scheme for the last 13 years. During my full working life, I also worked in a Sales and Marketing department, Human Resources and Exporting.

I first joined Hunstanton Town Council in 2017 and became a member on many committees. In 2022 I was honoured to have been chosen to be Mayor for the year, a position I valued greatly, and was proud to represent the town in which I was born and lived all my life.

At the end of my term and due to health issues, I left for 3 months, but felt I still had a lot to offer so I rejoined in September.

I look forward to becoming an active member again and once more doing the best I can for the town
